Michael Harold

Michael Harold is the Founder and Principal at YSR Search LLC, a firm dedicated to legal placement. He is a native of New Orleans and practiced law for 23 years at established firms across the city prior to opening his own search firm. In January 2014, he transitioned into legal placement work, founding YSR Search nine months later.

Michael Harold is a graduate of St. Martin’s Episcopal High School in New Orleans. He earned a degree in Spanish from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, spent his junior year abroad in Valencia, Spain and received his J.D. from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. While practicing law, he was a member of the Louisiana and Mississippi Bar Associations. Michael began studying French in 2004 and became a member of the board of the Alliance Francaise, serving as secretary for five years. He is currently a co-chair of the Louisiana chapter of the French Heritage Society.  Michael serves on boards of a number of a number of other organizations including La Sociedad Espanola, the alumni board of University of the South, and Friends of Music, a local chamber music society. He served as president of the Gulf Coast Region of the Metropolitan Opera National Council and served on the board of the Musical Arts Society of New Orleans.

Michael writes a bi-monthly column for a local magazine, Inside New Orleans and is a contributing food/travel writer for a national culinary magazine called The Local Palate.  He plays classical piano in his free time and began studying the piano at the age of eight with Sr. Elizabeth Marie Landry at Ursuline Convent. He continued to take lessons through college and following graduation from law school, studied with Dan Weilbaecher at Tulane University. He has performed for numerous charities around the city, including the Preservation Resource Center’s holiday tour, the Faulkner Society, and Poydras Home.

 

Quinn Peeper

Quinn Peeper is an established New Orleans physician and pianist. Since 2002, Dr. Peeper has served as a respected obstetrician/gynecologist with Crescent City Physicians Incorporated, Touro Infirmary. From 1994 to 2002, he was on staff at West Jefferson Medical Center and still maintains an office in Algiers. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Peeper teaches around the country for America’s OB/GYN Board Review, a nationally recognized professional review course. His review book is in its sixth edition. Current research interests include postpartum depression, perinatal benefits of RSV vaccination as well as new treatments for endometriosis and fibroids. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Peeper is also an accomplished classical musician, and has performed in a number of revered music venues, including Carnegie Hall. Like Michael, he started piano at age 8 and continued study through the end of high school and gave a senior solo recital at Southwestern at Memphis (Now Rhodes College). During residency training he started piano lessons again and won a competition at the Instituto Musicale Nicola Vaccai in Italy. He has performed at Carnegie Hall several times and his solo debut in 2000 was a benefit for SHARE, an organization to benefit women with breast and ovarian cancer and their families in the New York area. Other charitable organizations he's performed for include the American Cancer Society and the Ladies’ Leukemia League. Dr . Peeper performed Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) in 2004 in the Summer Pops series.

Dr. Peeper is affiliated with a number of non-profit organizations. He serves on the executive board of the Pirate’s Alley William Faulkner Society and has been the recipient of their prestigious ALIHOT award. He has also served as co-chairman of the Gulf Coast Region of the Metropolitan Opera National Council. He served on the board of the Shakespeare Festival at Tulane, New Orleans Opera Association, and the vestry of Christ Church Cathedral. He is a Commander in the Most Venerable Order of St. John of Jerusalem and a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.

Dr. Peeper received his Bachelors of Science and graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University and received his B.A. and M.A. from Oxford University. Quinn received his M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his residencies in New York and St. Paul. IN 2015, Dr. Peeper received an M.B.A. from the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business, Auburn University.
